What and who is behind the Schnatterrelle?
With a focus on food design, my studio creates extraordinary design solutions rooted in Austrian culinary traditions. With a love for detail, a playfulness, and a fine taste I deconstruct the traditional and reassemble it using innovative materials and my own ideas.
Growing up in my dad’s kitchen, I was certain I would take a different path towards design. However, during my Master’s degree, it became clear that I have a deep interest in the culinary world, since my projects kept blurring the lines between design and food. From tableware to edible objects, I explored quiet a bit. So now I want to follow that intuition and dive into food design and everything around it, down to the smallest detail.
